Provider terms
Last updated: 12 October 2026. Version 1.0, in force from 12 October 2026.
Operator: SkoroPro, 1105 E Main St, Suite 250, Allen, TX 75002, United States. Contact: support@skoropro.com.
These terms are the agreement between you, a business that offers services through SkoroPro (a "Pro"), and SkoroPro ("SkoroPro", "we", "us"). They apply on top of the customer terms, the privacy policy, the community guidelines and the refund policy. You accept them when you start Pro onboarding in the app, and we record the version you accepted.
1. Who can be a Pro
- You must be 18 or older.
- You offer services as a business or as a sole proprietor, under a business name or your own name.
- You are responsible for your authorisation to work in the United States and for any registration your business needs.
- You offer services in the Dallas to Fort Worth area of Texas. SkoroPro does not operate anywhere else.
2. Your status
- You are an independent business. You are not an employee, agent, partner or contractor of SkoroPro. SkoroPro is the marketplace that connects you with customers, holds the customer's payment and pays you through Stripe.
- You decide which jobs to respond to, what you charge, how you do the work, and what tools, materials and people you use. You carry your own costs.
- Nothing in these terms gives you the right to act for SkoroPro or to use the SkoroPro name except to say that you take bookings through the app.
3. Your profile and services
- Your business name, description, services, prices, hours and service area must be accurate and kept up to date. You can change them in the app at any time.
- Your service area is a ZIP code and a radius. You are shown jobs inside it for the services you offer during your business hours.
- You can only offer the service categories that SkoroPro lists. Do not describe your business in a way that suggests a licence, insurance or qualification you do not hold.
4. Licence and insurance
- Some service categories require a current licence from the relevant Texas authority, proof of insurance, or both.
- For those categories, you upload the document in the app. SkoroPro staff check the document and record its number and expiry. You can offer those services only after the document has been checked and approved.
- Keep the document current. When it expires, the service is removed from your profile until a new document is approved.
- Every document you upload must be genuine, current and yours. A false or altered document ends this agreement at once.
- SkoroPro checks the document, not the work. You remain fully responsible for working within the terms of your licence and your insurance.
5. Getting paid
- You are paid through Stripe. During onboarding you open a Stripe Connect Express account. Stripe collects your identity, tax and bank details. SkoroPro does not see your full bank details.
- By opening the account you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement. Those agreements are the terms for your payouts.
- Stripe pays your balance weekly on Fridays. Payouts carry a 7 day delay after the job is captured, so your first payouts can take up to 14 days. SkoroPro can shorten the delay after a track record of completed jobs.
- Your balance, payout history, bank changes and tax forms are in the Stripe Express dashboard, which you open from the app.
- You can only receive jobs once your Stripe account is ready to receive payouts.
6. The service fee
- The customer pays SkoroPro a service fee of 15% of the job price, with a minimum of USD 5. The fee is added on top of your price and shown to the customer at checkout.
- You pay no fee. You receive your job price and any approved add-ons in full. Stripe's card processing cost comes out of SkoroPro's service fee, not out of your price.
- SkoroPro can change the fee schedule for future bookings by publishing a new version of these terms. A booking keeps the fee schedule that applied when it was made.
7. Taxes
- You are responsible for your own taxes, including income tax and any sales tax that applies to the services you sell.
- Stripe issues tax forms where United States tax law requires them, based on the details you gave Stripe at onboarding.
- SkoroPro does not give tax advice.
8. Jobs, offers and quotes
- Before a booking is authorised you see the job description, photos, the general area and a rounded distance. You do not see the customer's street address, access notes or contact details.
- You respond with an offer (a fixed price and a proposed time) or a quote (an itemised price). Each has a validity period shown in the app. One live offer or quote per job.
- When the customer accepts and their card hold is authorised, the booking is confirmed and you see the address and the notes. An accepted offer or quote is a commitment to do that work at that price at that time.
- Your price must be the full price for the work described. Do not quote low and raise the price on site. Extra work goes through the add-on flow.
9. Doing the job
- Arrive at the agreed time. Mark your arrival in the app.
- Take at least one photo before you start and one when you finish. They are part of the booking record and are used if there is a dispute.
- Agree extra work through the add-on flow in the app before you do it. The customer approves it and a separate card hold is placed. Work done without an approved add-on is not paid through SkoroPro.
- Mark the job complete in the app when it is done. The customer's hold is captured at that moment and the job price plus approved add-ons is transferred to your Stripe balance.
- Leave the site as you found it, apart from the work done. Follow the customer's reasonable instructions about access, pets and property.
10. Cancellations, no-shows and reliability
- The refund policy, policy version v1, sets the outcome of every cancellation and no-show.
- If you cancel a confirmed booking, or you do not arrive, the customer gets a full refund including the service fee and you are paid nothing for that booking.
- If the customer is not available when you arrive, report it in the app with a photo. The customer can contest it. SkoroPro support decides under the refund policy. A confirmed customer no-show pays you the full job price.
- A late cancellation or a no-show on your side is recorded as a reliability event on your account.
- Repeated reliability events can lead to suspension of your account by SkoroPro staff after a review of the events. Nothing is automatic. You can reply to the review by email before a decision is made, and you can appeal a decision at support@skoropro.com.
11. Payment stays on the platform
- Every job you find through SkoroPro is booked and paid through SkoroPro. Do not ask a customer you met through SkoroPro to pay you directly, in cash or by any other method, for that job or for follow-up work.
- Do not share or ask for phone numbers, email addresses or payment details in order to take a job off the platform.
- Taking a job off the platform ends this agreement.
12. Conduct and safety
- Treat customers with respect. No harassment, threats, discrimination or abuse, in person or in the app.
- Work safely. Follow the safety rules that apply to your trade, use the right equipment, and stop if a job is unsafe to continue.
- Do not bring anyone to a job who is not part of your business and not covered by your licence and insurance where those are required.
- Do not arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Follow the community guidelines.
13. Customer data
- You receive a customer's name, address, notes, photos and messages only to do the job. Use them for nothing else.
- Do not keep customer data after the job beyond what you need for your own records and the law requires. Do not sell it, share it or use it for marketing.
- Keep your phone and your SkoroPro account secure.
14. Reviews and reports
- Customers can review you after a completed booking. Reviews are shown as they are, including negative ones. You can report a review that breaks the community guidelines.
- Do not write, buy or trade reviews, and do not ask customers to change or remove one.
- Customers can report and block you in the app. SkoroPro staff review every report within 24 hours. Content is reviewed when it is reported, not screened automatically.
15. Ending this agreement
- You can stop offering services at any time by turning off your availability, removing your services, or deleting your account from Settings in the app.
- We can suspend or end your account if you break these terms, the customer terms or the community guidelines, if your licence or insurance lapses for a service that requires it, if your Stripe account is restricted, or if we are required to by law. We tell you by email with the reason, unless the law prevents it. You can appeal at support@skoropro.com.
- Bookings that are open when the agreement ends are settled under the refund policy. Money already in your Stripe balance is paid out under Stripe's terms.
- Account deletion is refused while a booking or an uncaptured hold is open. Once they are closed, the deletion is processed and confirmed by email. Your Stripe connected account is deactivated, and kept only as long as tax reporting requires.
16. Responsibility
- You are responsible for the work you do, for the people you bring, and for any damage or injury caused by your work.
- You will cover SkoroPro for claims, losses and costs that arise from your work, from a breach of these terms, or from a false statement in your profile or your documents.
- SkoroPro does not promise you any number of jobs or any level of income.
- To the extent Texas law allows, SkoroPro's total liability to you for any claim connected to a booking is limited to the job price of that booking.
17. Changes to these terms
- We can change these terms. A new version gets a new version number and a new effective date at the top of this page.
- We tell you in the app or by email before a change that affects your pay or your obligations takes effect. Continuing to offer services after the effective date means you accept the new version. The version you accepted is recorded with your account.
18. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any court case about these terms or about SkoroPro is brought in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you agree to that venue.
