Refund policy
Every booking is held on your card and charged when the job is complete. When a booking is cancelled, the outcome depends on who cancels and how far before the start. The same rules run the cancel preview in the app, so the amount you see there is the amount taken. Hours count from the original start time unless a reschedule was agreed more than 24 hours before it.

How this policy works
This policy is part of the customer terms and the provider terms. It covers eight situations, listed below in the order the app applies them. The amounts are shares of the total you paid, which is the job price plus approved add-ons plus the service fee. Where the policy says the Pro is paid, Stripe transfers that amount to the Pro; where it says a strike, a reliability event is recorded on the Pro's account and reviewed by SkoroPro staff, never acted on automatically.

- 100% of what you paid, including the service fee. A hold that has not been captured yet is released.

How to cancel in the app
- Open the booking from your Bookings tab.
- Choose Cancel booking. The app shows the tier that applies and the exact amount you get back before you confirm.
- Confirm. Both sides get a notification with the outcome, and the refund amount.
A hold that has not been captured yet is released or part-captured according to the tier. A payment that has already been captured is refunded to the card that was held. Your card issuer decides how long a released hold or a refund takes to show.
How no-shows and disputes are handled
- No-shows are never decided automatically. From 30 minutes after the start you can report that the Pro did not arrive; the Pro can report that you were not available. SkoroPro support reviews the booking, the messages and the photos and decides under the tiers above.
- A cancellation while the job is in progress is always decided by SkoroPro support, and so is a goodwill refund. Nothing happens automatically in those two situations.
- Add-ons agreed during a job get their own card hold and are charged with the job.
- Questions or disputes about a specific booking go to support, with the booking code. A dispute gets a first response within 48 hours.
- If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead, SkoroPro provides the booking record to Stripe and the issuer decides. Contacting us first is usually faster.
- The customer terms and the provider terms refer to this page by its policy version. A change to the tiers is a new policy version with its own effective date, and we tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
